For their midterms. My students were tasked to create a unique walk animation. This is after their lesson focused on the basics of walk cycles, So It felt fitting that their midterm challenge to be the same but in their own way.

For the final project. A.j. created a short animation featuring dialogue from smiling friends.This is an animated short made by Arden, one of our "Portfolio Students" who have taken the class before and is instead assigned to produce portfolio pieces such as this. For her final project, Keeva create a short character animation featuring Uncle Death (found on Agora.community) and Giddy, a character model and rig made by fellow classmate and friend, Arden Millhouse-Lewis. The original audio is from the show “One Tree Hill” season 9 episode 10. Storyboards Just to set the context, Arden is a student who has taken (and passed) this particular class before. So her time was mostly spent creating portfolio pieces and so she ended up creating two short animations. She also took this opportunity to test out her own 3D character model that she rigged and designed her self. You may notice that this rig is present in other student's animations. |
